インストール完了後のヘッダー部分にあるメッセージ？

お世話になります。

SMFをインストールしたのですが、なぜか？ヘッダー部分に下記のようなメッセージが表示されてしまいます。

// Version: 2.0 Beta 4; Modifications // Important! Before editing these language files please read the text at the top of index.japanese.php. ?>

どのように対処すれば宜しいでしょうか？　ご指導の程、よろしく、お願い申し上げます。

なお、サーバーはXrea系のCOREサーバーです。

バグっぽいですね。
modifications.japanese-utf8.php
の中身が以下のようになっていることを確認してください。

もし、こうなっているにもかかわらず、同じエラーが表示される場合は、SMFのファイルすべての改行コードをLFに変換してみてください。
